A Word About ADA
Having hearing loss should not stop you from pursuing your goals or keep you from doing what you love! Below is some information that perhaps you’re not aware of and may find useful in situations you find yourself in.
ADA: What is it?
The Americans with Disabilities Act (July 26, 1990) protects Americans from
discrimination because of their disabilities. Hearing loss is considered a disability under the ADA and there are resources available to help with telecommunication services especially in public buildings such as the court house, convert venue, or library.
