Hearing Aid Warranties
Are your hearing aids still under warranty for repairs and loss & damage? Check the date on your hearing aid warranties, or ask us. Repairs are inevitable, so it’s good to keep your aids covered. Extended warranties are available to purchase once the original warranty runs out. Your routine clean and check visits are crucial at keeping your hearing aids in good working order and are included of your extended warranty plan. If it has been over six months since your last check-up please call us to schedule an appointment at 440-357-4327.
Phones with Captions
Are you having difficulty hearing on your home phone? Home phones with screens for captioning are available at no cost for some patients with significant hearing loss through an Ohio resource for Americans with disabilities. Let us know if you are interested and we will review your eligibility with you. If you are a candidate, we will submit a phone request for you on your behalf. The phone will ship directly to your home, and a caption phone agent will even come and install it for you!
Is your Smart Phone not working as well as it used to with your hearing aids? Smart Phones and Hearing Aid Apps can be quirky if you miss a firmware update or forget to turn your cell phone off periodically. Try powering down your device completely at least once a week. It resolves a lot of the quirks. Otherwise, call to make an appointment and we can walk you through using your hearing aids with your cell phones. You can pre-load the hearing aid manufacturer app before you come in. Hearing aids apps are available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Our patient’s and staff’s health is still our #1 priority. We continue to adhere to the following health guidelines for our Audiology clinic:
- Facial masks are required for entry.
- We disinfect surfaces, equipment, and furniture between each patient.
- We have social distancing protocols for the waiting room.
- We use air purifiers and droplet shields in each office.
